Our Story
STELLAR opened in Plano, TX, 22 years back!
Shane B, President and CEO of STELLAR Surveillance & Security (DBA STELLAR), graduated with his Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and immediately developed an affinity to the DLP (TM) technology while working at Texas Instruments. Shane continued on to get his MBA from University of Dallas and developed a home entertainment business, scaling from a few employees in 2000 to a company of over 35 highly trained staff today.
Since 2000, STELLAR has designed, built, installed and serviced some of the most renowned and award-winning audio/video and home entertainment projects. STELLAR has offered complete solutions that include home theaters, whole house audio & video, surveillance, lighting, automation, digital living, remodels and room conversions that have been featured in trade publications and praised by the most important critics in the industry – our customers. Our expansion to several locations now in Dallas and Austin is just one example of our growth and validation of our extremely satisfied customer base.
STELLAR’s evolution speaks to its expansion from one location to many! Just like a supernova (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernova) creates a STELLAR event, this is what we have done with evolution into STELLAR. Continuing its expansion in several markets while maintaining a very high quality of service and guaranteeing a STELLAR experience.
STELLAR’s showrooms and design centers have expanded with 3 locations; in Allen, Grapevine and Austin. Our design service and our highly trained staff are unparalleled in the industry. The influence of design and architecture has helped create a unique spot in the marketplace, with attention to detail which several custom builders and leading designers in the market desire and which STELLAR works with on a daily basis.
